Agreed. *me takes all the money A.net would have gotten from me for the BMP and puts it into his X-Box Fund*

...$3?
BMP is a free extra... the only way ArenaNet would get any extra money is if you could find the stuff you were buying (such as EotN) cheaper somewhere else... which is quite possible, but the difference would be minor.
I would agree that buying EotN *just* for the BMP would be a waste of time, though.
Regarding skills, I am expecting something like the Costume Brawl...

Umm, whoopty doo. I don't have high hopes for it, learned my lesson from GW:EN. If, however, it does come out great, then I guess it will be SUPER GREAT to me.
Do what I do, keep the lowest expectations. I expect it to have us playing Turai Ossa, who will be a W/Mo with Mending and Healing Hands, and Gwen will have backfire on her skill bar, with chaos storm and AIr of Disenchantment... impress me ANET.

Hey, the Dev Team must be doing NaNoWriMo! They want to get their novels finished before releasing it!

I'm guessing Ursan Blessing can't be used in the BMP, so that means the casual players are going to be left out.

Actually, that would be awesome. Then we can tease Palawa Joko about being beaten by a wammo.

You keep surprising me A-net! I really thought you would release it Nov. 30 on 11:59 pm, but instead we get it a whole day earlier! Weeehooo.
But seriously, couldn't be bothered if it'd come now or in December really. I'll get it anyway and I've got plenty of other things to do.
Just realised Nov. 29 is only a week! That's not too long to wait I suppose

'twould be nice if it was released early on the 29th so people get time to play it on the Thursday. The last thing I want is to lose all the people I would otherwise be playing a multiplayer game with since they're all off doing solo things in the BMP over the weekend.
If it is released on the Friday I'll just have to wait 'til there's no-one else about I can't say I'm not looking forward to it tho. I do like a lot of the novelty quests/missions in GW (polymock being an exception) so I expect this one will be a lot of fun for a day or 2. I know I'll at least get my money's worth, so I can't be disappointed

It will be fun. Looking forward to it and what it might unlock for my mains, if anything. Even with no unlocks, nice to see the stories play out.

Lookign forward to the new content though

I don't expect to get a week of play out of the Bonus Missions!
They are Missions, so what, about an hour each? 4 hours is what I expect, maybe a little less, maybe a little more.

tbh they need the time to translate into Bork! Bork!
Other than that, it is 4 missions so I don't see how it could take that long unless something went wrong (Murphy's Law, you know).

The most disappointing concept of the BMP for me was the inability to join with your friends in playing it. If we are posing as each of these 4 great personalities in gw history being forced to use their bars but then unable to run around with friends wtb solo gw even more =[
But hopefully it will indeed provide more entertainment than the most recent release which unfort as many others have stated didnt provide nearly as much entertainment for the buck as the other gw purchases.
*ASIDE surely to be flamed* And in essence BMP was not free. If you buy EOTN at the store, you pay the same price as you do online. Which means the money spent on the box/inserts/disk etc are now put into the pockets of anet, so basically the cost of the BMP is what those items cost each. =] *end aside*

Lol, I love how hard people make out their job to be. They already have the game engine, the textures, the story, and the skills. The BMP is nothing but a mod of work that's already done, basically. A little voice acting (and even that's just a maybe, remember the Titan quests that didn't actually tell you anything about anything) and it's done.
Honestly, they probably haven't even started the Bonus Mission Pack yet; the lack of a release hour is because they don't know exactly how many hours it will take to toss together on the 29th.

Was this sarcasm or do you seriously think making content is just a matter of a few hours work?
Besides, there are screenshots around showing that it has started development, and at this point im guessing its pretty much complete and either going through final touches or being tested
